The story

Timber walls with a century of stories in them.

Chesterhill was settled by Quakers in the early 1800s, and this corner of Morgan County carries their legacy of plain living and quiet courage — the village is woven into Ohio's Underground Railroad heritage, where "freedom" was more than a word.

The cabin honors that history in the way it's built and kept: exposed hand-hewn beams, chinked log walls, and a porch made for sitting. It's not a replica experience behind glass — you live in it, light the fire, and make your own night of it.

One cabin, one booking at a time — the whole place is yours for the stay.
